Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Terminal Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the efficient running of our terminal. The Manager is responsible for supervising daily operations, monitoring performance, identifying safety issues, and resolving conflict.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with District Administration to ensure school routes and event trips are covered in a timely and efficient manner
Interface with drivers regarding concerns and performance issues
Investigate district & customer complaints and coordinate resolutions
Ensure achievement of timely performance goals
Effectively monitor and mentor driver safety
Review and resolve employee concerns
Oversee maintenance of all employee credentials and files, vehicle file
Ensure substitute drivers/vehicles are assigned to provide on-time service of routes
Audit and correct athletic and charter trip invoices based on company guidelines
Experience and Skills Required:
High School Diploma
2 years experience in transportation
2 years of supervisory experience
Computer literacy skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Familiar with basic vehicle mechanic processes and maintenance
Ability to effectively prioritize and mange tasks effectively
Work extended hours regularly, including weekends if necessary
